Congratulations to the ETJMS Students of the Month for May! All of these students were nominated and selected by their teachers for embodying the “Show Up, Work Hard, and Be Kind” characteristics every day. Great job everyone! 🏆🤩

6th grade teachers would like to award Pasquale Cimino! Pasquale is a very dedicated student who continues to work hard in all of his classes and is kind to his peers. He participates in class, encourages his classmates to do their best, and takes risks in his learning! Great job, Pasquale!

7th grade teachers would like to award Elianna Colon! Elianna has shown tremendous growth this year and continues to impress with her hard work and active participation. Elianna seeks out feedback and uses it to improve, showing that she is motivated and committed to doing her best! Congrats, Elianna!

8th grade teachers would like to award Prince Garcia! Prince has become more and more willing to share his ideas in a whole-class setting and has been a great help to his classmates, especially in science. He is always respectful and demonstrates a positive attitude! Way to go Prince!

ETJMS 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students had a chance again this year to participate in the American Legion Auxiliary Post 20 Poppy Poster Contest in recognition of National Poppy Day May 22, 2026. Students were asked to create a poster focusing on creativity, history, and patriotism. Congratulations to all the student winners:
