🚀💥 STOMP, LAUNCH, BUMP! 💥🚀

Mrs. Ray’s 8th grade scientists put Newton’s Third Law into action today: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction!

Students sent rockets flying with foot stomp rocket launches 🚀 and experienced action and reaction firsthand with some hilarious belly bumper collisions! 😂💥

Who knew Newton’s laws could be this much fun?! 🔬✨

⚽️💥 NEWTON’S LAWS IN ACTION! 💥⚽️

Mrs. Ray’s and Ms. Harvey’s 8th grade scientists took learning outside for a game of Newtonian Soccer—with a 20-pound medicine ball! 😳

Students put force, mass, acceleration, friction, and Newton’s First Law to the test as they pushed, kicked, chased, and occasionally SLID across the grass. 😂 And of course, the teachers had to join in too!

Hands-on learning + a little chaos = science you won’t forget! 🧠⚽️💪

8th Grade US History classes.🇺🇸 Bringing U.S. History to Life! 🇺🇸

Mrs. Averitt’s, Mrs. Dagley’s, and Mrs. Womack’s U.S. History classes stepped beyond the textbook! Using virtual reality headsets, students explored Independence Hall, experienced the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and visited the National Archives—all without leaving the classroom! 🥽📜

Students also got a hands-on look at our “original” copy of the Declaration of Independence, complete with the signatures of the Founding Fathers.

There’s something pretty amazing about giving students the opportunity to not just learn history, but to see it, explore it, and experience it! ❤️🤍💙
