Not sure how to keep kiddos engaged over the Summer? Hereâs a chat prompt you can use to create a customized learning packet based off of your childâs interests and learning goalsâ€ïž
I want to create a personalized summer learning adventure workbook for my child.
Please help me design an 8-week, MondayâFriday program with 1 short activity day per weekday. I want it to feel fun, creative, and personalizedânot like boring schoolwork.
My child is going into: [GRADE]
Their name is: [NAME]
Their interests are:
* [INTEREST 1]
* [INTEREST 2]
* [INTEREST 3]
* [INTEREST 4]
* [FAVORITE CHARACTERS / SHOWS / GAMES]
* [PETS / FAMILY DETAILS TO INCLUDE]
Their academic strengths are:
* [STRENGTHS]
Areas I want to support this summer:
* [READING / WRITING / MATH / CONFIDENCE / FRIENDSHIP / ETC.]
Their personality:
* [CREATIVE, ACTIVE, SHY, CONFIDENT, SENSITIVE, FUNNY, ETC.]
Important life lesson I want woven through the workbook:
* [EX: confidence, kindness, perseverance, inclusion, leadership, trying hard things, etc.]
Please create:
1. An 8-week theme map
2. Weekly confidence/character themes
3. Age-appropriate academic skill focus
4. A daily structure
5. A parent guide
6. A beginning-of-summer assessment
7. Week 1 in full detail with 5 days of activities
Each day should include:
* A short character message
* A creative activity or drawing prompt
* A short reading passage
* 3â5 comprehension/reflection questions
* Age-appropriate math
* A writing or journaling prompt
* A confidence/kindness/reflection moment
Keep the tone warm, playful, encouraging, and magical. Make my child feel capable, loved, and excited to learn.
For best results, Iâd also tell parents to upload a report card or teacher comments and add:
âPlease use the uploaded report card to identify academic strengths and areas to reinforce, but keep the workbook encouraging and fun.â
