Terre Haute Music School

Terre Haute Music School Music lessons for children and adults in the Wabash Valley. We help students reach their goals. I am the middle daughter of 3 girls. One important gift was music.

Note from the director: I was born in the mid-west but spent most of my early years in Texas! My parents gave us all the opportunities that they could for us. My older sister played the clarinet. My younger sister played the flute. And I played piano and trumpet. I stuck with piano after high school, getting 3 degrees in Piano Performance/Pedagogy (teaching). Now, 2 decades later, I am running my

own music school and thoroughly enjoying working with students! My personal goal for every student is for them to have fun and learn to read and understand music. I provide 13 music performance opportunities for my students every year to help them learn to be confident, over come stage-fright, and enjoy sharing their music. My students have many other opportunities throughout the year such as “Achievement in Music” (yearly evaluations), “Hoosier Auditions” contest, group classes, and much more! If you want a well-rounded music education with many “extras,” then Terre Haute Music School is for you!

Had more vandalism last week - not the squirrels this time! They plucked every red flower! (What do they have against white?) The interesting part is that they only hit the flower bed just out of camera range, and left the other one (in camera range) alone! I have my suspicions, of course! I am checking with my landlord to see if he will allow me to move the outdoor security camera so that I can see both from now on. (I'm including 2 pictures so you get an idea of what kind of damage they did!)
