Hello everyone,
Tonight's open house has been moved to tomorrow (Saturday February 7th) due to the forecasted weather. The time is still the same, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm out at the Oakley Observatory. Hope to see you tomorrow night!
Clear Skies!

Thanks to everyone, especially our incredible volunteers, for coming out last night to the open house. While we were able to play "Name that Star" all night, we were still at the mercy of the clouds.

We will be having another Open House tonight to see if we get some better weather. It will be a skeleton crew, but we hope to see you (and clear skies) tonight from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Oakley Observatory Open House last Friday night!

We've got the final pictures of the M13 Great Hercules Globular Cluster and of M57 The Ring Nebula! These were the images on the TV at the back of the observatory that were being shown in black and white. By combining the images from different filters we made the color images.

Clear skies until next time! ✨

Postponed till Saturday night.
