Rose-Hulman Leadership Education And Development - LEAD

Graduates of Rose-Hulman are recognized in industry for their superior technical skills, a result of the Rose-Hulman education.

The purpose of the Rose-Hulman Leadership Advancement Program is to provide students with educational opportunities for leadership that match their opportunities for developing technical skills. Based on their problem-solving abilities, many of our graduates advance quickly, often assuming leadership roles in their organizations. The purpose of the Rose-Hulman Leadership Education and Development

Program is to provide students with educational opportunities for leadership that match their opportunities for developing technical skills. The need for technical leaders has emerged in many publications, including the National Academy of Engineering’s The Engineer of 2020. The NAE points out the need for leadership training for engineers in order to bridge public policy and technology and to encourage engineers to take on roles that they have traditionally been reluctant to take. The technical challenges of the future will require the cooperation of diverse groups with different backgrounds. As a result of participating in the Rose-Hulman Leadership Education and Development Program, our graduates will possess the leadership necessary to address these challenges in our global community.

This will be a great way to spend a few afternoons in December while you’re at home!

Student Leader Spotlight: Jenna Lewis

The thing I’m most proud of from my time at Rose-Hulman is the experience I’ve had as an RA. Not only has it allowed me to meet so many amazing people and many of my best friends, but I was also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to mentor incredible residents and SAs while I was learning and growing myself, as well. It was an extremely rewarding position and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to join the team. I’m so proud of all the people I’ve worked with and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in the future.
