CTE had Pat Killeen and Danielle Miller recognized tonight. Two of the major sponsors Novelis and Union Health also mentioned the importance of CTE in their speeches. It was a great night though we will be sad to see Pat retire at the end of this year.

I also want to give a shout out to Nathan Simpson, who has quickly become a band and technology expert. I also want to congratulate Katie Miller, a new dual credit Human Anatomy teacher.

NEAT friends,
There is a CTE Advisory meeting tomorrow, April 5, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at the VCSC Administration Building board room. This is a public meeting and everyone is welcome. We will be discussing data trends, industry needs, and the future plans for Perkins funding. We will also provide opportunities for input to help guide future plans for CTE. Thank you for your continued support as we provide the best opportunities possible for current and future students.

I got to attend the ribbon cutting of the new Great Dane Central Fabrication plant. A great investment in Terre Haute and 125 new highly skilled jobs. A former technology student of mine, Nick Seaton, gave us a tour.
