✨ Free Enrichment Program for Kids (Ages 8–11)! ✨
Looking for a fun, educational after-school activity that goes beyond screens and worksheets?
EdTech Hangul Story is a Language & Culture class offered at the Vigo County Public Library. This free program gives your child the opportunity to explore Korean culture, build confidence, and learn simple Korean phrases through engaging stories and hands-on crafts.
Led by Indiana State University graduate students, the program blends storytelling, educational technology, and creative activities in a supportive, student-centered environment.
📚 Your child will:
• Learn fun Korean phrases through engaging stories and educational technology
• Explore language and global culture in an age-appropriate way
• Create hands-on crafts that reinforce learning
• Build confidence and curiosity in a welcoming classroom setting
📍 Program Details
Who: Ages 8–11 (Grades 3–5)
Where: Vigo County Public Library
When:
• Tuesdays: 3:30–5:00 PM
• Saturdays: 10:00–11:30 AM
(2 sessions per week for 5 weeks — 10 total sessions)
Cost: FREE
Requirement: Parent/guardian consent
This teaching and learning research program is supported by the Chicago Korean Education Center and led by ISU graduate students.
