Today was such a powerful reminder that when communities come together in prayer, God moves. 🇺🇸🙏

We want to extend a special thank you to Lawrence Urlick for allowing us the opportunity to gather together for National Day of Prayer at City Hall/The Courthouse.

We are incredibly proud of our Student Council who led beautifully and represented our school and community with excellence. Thank you to Mr. Simmons for helping orchestrate today’s event, and to Pastor Tim for serving as our MC throughout the gathering.

One of the most meaningful moments was seeing Pastor Tim VanWinkle praying alongside his grandson Camden — a beautiful picture of faith stretching across generations. We were also honored to have Reaghan Simmon represent Vigo County public schools in prayer.

Thank you to our Mayor for allowing us the opportunity to publicly pray at City Hall/The Courthouse and for taking time to come out and support the event. We also appreciate Christy Meagher from the Indiana Office of the Attorney General’s office for joining us and praying with our community.

It was truly our honor to greet our community, worship together, and pray alongside one another. May we continue to seek God together for our schools, churches, leaders, families, and nation. ❤️

• If your team has more participation than the team you challenged, they’ll take on one of your cleaning tasks for Friday.

Looking for a way to be more involved this school year? We’re looking for volunteers to help support our students and staff during the school day!

We have several ways you can serve:
🥪 Lunch Helpers – Help us from 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM
📖 Guest Readers – Schedule a time to read to one of our elementary classes
⚽ Recess Monitors – Come help supervise and encourage safe, fun play

Whether you have a little time or a lot, we’d love to have you join us!
