Some of the biggest adventures begin with the littlest learners and a good book! 💙💛

At ECA Little Learners, literacy starts long before a child can read independently. Every story we share, song we sing, letter we discover, and conversation we have helps build the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

We love watching our Little Learners discover that books can take them anywhere—all while building vocabulary, imagination, confidence, and a love for learning.

Most importantly, we want our littles to grow up knowing and loving God's Word. ❤️

Today, we encourage our families to celebrate by curling up together and reading a favorite book. Those few minutes together are building memories AND strong beginnings!

Eastside Christian Academy & ECA Little Learners are excited to partner with District 6 for their Mum Fundraiser! 🍂

These beautiful fall mums are a great way to decorate your porch, brighten up your yard, or grab a few for friends and family—all while supporting our students!

🍁 $12 each OR 3 for $33
📅 Orders & money due: Monday, September 14
🚗 Seller Pick-Up: Wednesday, September 16

Please turn your orders and payment in to ECA/ECA Little Learners by the deadline. Checks may be made payable to Eastside Christian Academy.

🍂🦅 ECA PTO — We Need YOU! 🦅🍂

What exactly does PTO do? A lot more than you might think! 💙💛

Our Parent Teacher Organization brings parents, teachers, and supporters together to strengthen ECA and support our mission. Through both financial contributions and hands-on help, PTO can make a BIG impact on our students and staff!

This year, PTO will help support things like:

🦅🙏 EAGLES PRAY | A Weekly Prayer for Our ECA Family

At Eastside Christian Academy, prayer isn’t something we save for difficult days—it’s part of who we are.

Each week, we want to intentionally pause and pray over our students, families, staff, and community. We invite you to pray alongside us wherever you are.

🙏 This Week’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for every student, family, and staff member You have placed in our ECA family. We ask You to cover our school with Your presence this week.

Give our students wisdom as they learn, courage when things are difficult, kindness toward one another, and hearts that desire to know You more.

Strengthen our families. Give parents and caregivers patience, wisdom, provision, and peace as they lead their homes.

Encourage our teachers and staff. Give them energy for each day, wisdom for every decision, and remind them that the work they do matters far beyond the classroom.

And Lord, bless our community. Help us notice the people around us who need encouragement, support, and the love of Jesus. Show us how we can be Your hands and feet.

May everything we do point others toward You.

💙💛 It’s Not Goodbye… It’s See You Later, Ms. Edie! 💛💙

Some people have a special gift for caring for our littlest learners, and Ms. Edie is absolutely one of those people. She has been one of our ECA Little Learners MVPs, loving and caring for our infants with incredible compassion, patience, and tenderness.

Due to some health concerns, Ms. Edie has made the decision to step away and focus on her health, healing, and recovery. While we are certainly going to miss seeing her each day, we are thankful she is taking this time to care for herself. ❤️

Ms. Edie, thank you for every lullaby sung, every baby rocked, every snuggle given, every tear wiped, and every milestone celebrated. You have loved our babies well, and that means more to our families and our ECA Little Learners team than we could ever put into words.

We are praying for restoration, strength, healing, and many blessings in this next season.

🍎🍂 September Learning at Our Center! 🍂🍎

We’re excited for a new month of learning, growing, and exploring together! 💛

Our September themes will give our little learners plenty of opportunities to build friendships, explore their families and feelings, and discover the wonderful changes that come with the fall season.

🌟 Marvelous Me — celebrating what makes each child unique while learning about feelings, friends, and family.

🍎 Orchard Adventure — exploring apples, trees, leaves, seeds, textures, and the sights and tastes of autumn.

🔴🔺 Colors & Shapes — focusing on red and the triangle.

🔢 Numbers — 1, 2 & 3

🎶 We’ll also be enjoying fun songs, rhymes, sign language, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences throughout the month!

💙💛 Help Us Welcome Mrs. Liz Moody to ECA Little Learners! 💛💙

We are excited to introduce another new face to our ECA Little Learners families! Mrs. Liz Moody is joining our team as the teacher in our new One-Year-Old classroom! 🌱

Mrs. Liz has completed all of her required steps and training, including:

✅ Background Check
✅ Fingerprinting
✅ Required Early Childhood Training

We know leaving your little one in someone else’s care is a big decision, and we want our families to feel confident knowing the people caring for their children have been properly screened, trained, and prepared for their classrooms.

A little about Mrs. Liz—she loves the beach 🏖️, animals 🐾, photography 📷, and you may just catch her with an Alani in hand! 🥤

We are excited for Mrs. Liz to love on our littlest learners, help them reach those BIG one-year-old milestones, and create a classroom filled with learning, play, consistency, and lots of encouragement.
