Western Indiana Storm Chasers

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Storm Chaser Chris Cooley.

Chris was one of the first members of Indiana Weather Network and was a part of the team up until this summer. He loved photography, cars, planes, and of course, weather.

The chasing community lost a great one today. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with the Cooley family during this difficult time.

UPGRADE TO LEVEL 3 ENHANCED RISK! Severe storms are possible with damaging hail, high wind gusts, and a couple tornadoes possible. There is a HIGH amount of uncertainty due to a capping inversion in place.

LEVEL 3️⃣: Should severe storms develop, they will pose a risk for destructive hail (perhaps 2"+ in diameter), damaging wind, and a couple tornadoes.

LEVEL 2️⃣: Should severe storms develop, they will pose a risk for very large hail, damaging wind, and a tornado or two.
