Week 8 - SummerWeen - was scary fun! We created costumes from scrap, carved watermelons, told classic campfire ghost stories, wove lobster traps from natural materials and had thrilling adventures in Acadia.

With that we wrap up our Summer here at Blueberry Cove. It is not goodbye, but see you again soon!

Arr! ‘Tis Week 7 (PIRATES!) and it’s been a scorcher here at our little camp by the sea, so we’ve beaten the heat by taking to the waves!

Beach days, harvesting seafood, berry foraging, and nautical crafts have kept us cool and brought many a smile that no scurvy seadog can pillage!

Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp & Learning Center is excited to announce that registration is officially open for our after-school program! This school year, we’re excited to offer flexible registration options for Kindergarten through 5th grade:
Flexible Scheduling: Register month-to-month or sign up for the entire school year.
More Days Available: Choose 2, 3, or 5 days a week—and yes, Friday options are back!

In Week 6 we celebrated our International staff and campers by preparing regional meals, learning songs from around the world, and playing their favorite games.

Sports science, flag making, world building, and rugby matches were all the rage.

We also got to host some Early College students from our sister-camp Tanglewood who came to Blueberry Cove to get Wilderness First Aid + CPR certified and experience island life.

Week 5 - Myths & Legends - lived up to its name. We began with dragonfire and finished with our heroes returning home.
Time honored traditions of storytelling and fable were rekindled and life lessons learned.

Can we get a resounding HUZZAH! Songs at the feast will be sung of the great deeds that occurred in our Medieval-themed Week 4! Many quests were set upon and challenges faced, but the rewards and friendships discovered were mighty!

With the end of whimsical Week 3 - Wonderland - we are halfway through our first two-week session. We may all be MAD here, but we’re not upset!

The surge of blossoms are bringing all the bees, butterflies and moths to our camp, giving us an excellent opportunities to learn about the relationship between pollinators and flowers. As well, our garden is really starting to ramp up!

Our LITs (Leaders in Training) have been working on orienteering, wilderness first aid, Ages and Stages, and much more in preparation for working with our day camp kids now that they’ve returned from island life.

Week 2 - A Blast From the Past - started with rainbows and ended in smiles. We honored the heritage of our seaside camp from long, long ago to present day and had so much fun along the way!
