Our high school marching band got so much better today after a visit from the Pine Tree High School Band staff! WOW! Thank you to Mr. Smith, Mr. Loyd, Mr. Hill, and Ms. Sydney for all your guidance and willingness to help our program improve!

It was a very rainy day, but our band still performed well. The Roarin Band from Tigerland recieved a first division and third placed overall at the Prairiland Marching Festival!

Sadly, due to rain, our band was unable to march at the Mineola Iron Horse Marching Festival.

Our students have worked so hard to put on the best performance possible. They have improved so much over the last week, and we are so thankful that we’re able to perform at least one time today. We look forward to performing at Pre-UIL in Hallsville at 9:30AM as well as the homecoming parade and game next Saturday!

We did not get to march in Mineola due to rain. We should now be in Tenaha at around 6:00PM. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Due to many circumstances, only the upperclassman were able to attend the Overton game tonight. So, in a very rare occasion, the band was actually able to sit down for a meal at Wing Stop tonight prior to the game. Normally, as band alumni know all to well, the band usually gets a couple of small McDonalds McDoubles quickly as they get off the bus and get seated in the stands.

What a great clinic by the Kilgore College Band Director, Mr. Clifton! We are better tonight because he was willing to dedicate time towards helping our program. Plus, students gained a little incite and information about Kilgore College.
