Second Student Post:
Look at MY equation that is typed below and my answer.

2(8 ÷ 4) ÷ 2 + 3(6 + 2)

NOW, using my original equation, The FIRST person to post this week will COPY my equation into your comment. Then YOU will change ONE number, sign, or set of grouping symbols, and then RE-SOLVE your changed equation!

IMPORTANT: EACH person (after the first one) should copy the equation from the NEXT posting, changing ONE thing and then resolving!!!

(remember that 3^2 is the same as three squared (9). ^ means raised to a power. Also, you can use the symbol / to also mean divide, such as 6/3 = 2.)

My equation would be solved as follows:
2(8 ÷ 4) ÷ 2 + 3(6 + 2)
2(2) ÷ 2 + 3(8)
4 ÷ 2 + 24
2 + 24
