As summer is flying by, I'm already getting excited for another wonderful school year at Otter River Childcare! 💛

ORC Preschool is looking for a kind, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join the program part-time beginning September 2026.

Hours are Monday–Friday, approximately 12:00 PM–5:00 PM.

Looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children and values both Montessori-inspired and play-based learning in a smaller, supportive environment.

Position Includes:
• February, April, and December school vacation weeks off
• Major holidays off
• Schedule is ideal for those with school-aged children
• Supportive family atmosphere
• Competitive pay based on experience

Qualifications:
• Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification required
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Must pass a CORI/background check
• Previous preschool classroom experience preferred
• Must be comfortable independently supervising a small group of children during afternoon hours
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable, nurturing, organized, and professional

Afternoon responsibilities include classroom supervision, supporting children during play and transitions, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, communicating with families at pickup, light classroom cleaning and sanitizing, and end-of-day closing duties.
