God, What Do I Do When My Struggle Is Public But My Pain Is Private?

10/14/2025

RESTORED WORSHIP & A RENEWED HEART | 2 Chronicles 33:10–16

Today I was reading 2 Chronicles 33:10–16, where we learn about King Hezekiah, a righteous king of Judah who restored worship in the temple, renewed the people’s commitment to God, and led them back to trusting Him fully.

I imagine how lost the people must have felt before that , drifting, disconnected, trying to fill the emptiness with everything except God.

Have you ever lost your way?
Maybe after a friendship ended, a relationship broke, a job slipped away, or an opportunity vanished , something you poured your all into, only for it to fall apart. That kind of loss can shake your identity. It can make you question who you are and what’s next.

But here’s the truth:
Restoration is never easy, but it’s always worth it.
When your life is being rebuilt, when your heart is being repaired, it requires one thing to trust. Trust that even when you can’t see it, God is still working behind the scenes.

Just like Hezekiah led the people back to worship, your renewal begins with worship and prayer. When you take time to pray, praise, and seek His presence, something inside you begins to shift. That’s when you step into a renewed commitment, a deeper trust, and a restored relationship with God.

Let's PRAY

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the God of restoration. Even when we’ve lost our way, You never lose sight of us. Renew our hearts and restore our faith. Rebuild what’s been broken and help us surrender every fear and disappointment to You.

Teach us to worship through the waiting and pray through the pain. Strengthen our commitment to You, Lord. Let our lives reflect Your peace and power as we walk closely with You.

We trust that You’re making all things new our minds, relationships, dreams, and purpose.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

If this spoke to your heart, comment “Restored” below and share what you’re trusting God to renew in your life.

Have you ever felt impatient, like you're waiting for the right moment to move forward? I know I have. There has been many times when I was desperate for a breakthrough. These breakthroughs ranged from a marriage not working, financial breakthrough, breakthrough during depression, breakthrough while working a very stressful job, a breakthrough for a career, breakthrough during business, breakthrough for someone I cared about, and even a breakthrough for my social media pages (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram). I felt like I was stuck in a season of waiting, unsure if I was even headed in the right direction. I wanted things to move faster. I pushed hard, trying to force opportunities, praying for quick answers.

But then, one day, something shifted. I was reflecting on all the things I’d tried to rush, and it hit me. God had been moving all along, even when I didn’t see it. The very thing I had been trying to force was actually going to come at the perfect time, far better than I could have ever planned for myself. It wasn’t that I had missed my moment, but rather that God was preparing me for something even bigger than I imagined. The wait wasn’t a punishment; it was a preparation.

If you believe God is preparing you say "I trust God’s perfect timing. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)"

🙏 Let's Pray:
Lord, we come before You with a heart full of trust, acknowledging that Your timing is perfect. Even when we feel impatient or uncertain, help us remember that You are in control and working things out for my good. When we want to rush ahead or take matters into our own hands, remind us to pause and wait for Your leading.

God, grant us the patience to wait well in this season. Help us to walk in step with You, not trying to force things to happen, but resting in the knowledge that You are preparing everything at just the right time. Give me peace as we wait for the doors You are opening. we know that Your plans are greater than ours and that You will bring everything to fruition at the perfect moment.

Thank You, Lord, for Your perfect timing. we trust You with all our heart. Amen.

Today's word for you is: Focus on God and the mission. ✨ Just like the Israelites, when they lost focus on where they were going and kept looking back at what they believed, their journey became longer and filled with doubt. Despite witnessing miracles, they struggled to trust God’s plan. You may be feeling like you're in a wilderness season right now. But remember, the wilderness is not a place of defeat, it’s preparation for your purpose. 🙏

I remember a time when I was an intern, and the training felt harsh. My mentor kept saying, “I’m preparing you because when you leave here, you won’t have all the support you have now, but you’ll still be responsible for the work.” I felt stressed, unsure, and lacking confidence in what I was doing. But looking back, I see how that difficult season prepared me for something bigger. When I moved to Texas, I found myself restructuring a department, something I never imagined myself doing. The skills I learned in that harsh season gave me the ability to turn a failing department into one that became a model of success. 🚀

God was my counselor through it all. Even when no one noticed, even when the credit went to others, I knew it was His hand guiding me. I learned how to love budgeting, contracting, and organizing systems. And now, I look back with gratitude for that wilderness season because it was God’s preparation for what I’m doing today. 🌟 If you’re in a season of preparation, trust that God is working even when you can't see the results yet.

Scripture:

Deuteronomy 8:2 (NLT): "Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character and to find out whether or not you would obey His commands."

James 1:2-4 (NIV): "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Isaiah 55:9 (NIV): "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today asking for Your guidance and clarity. Help us to see Your hand in every season, especially when we feel like we’re wandering in the wilderness. We know that You are preparing us for something greater, even when the path feels unclear. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust that You are with us every step of the way. 💪

Lord, just like the Israelites, we often lose focus and get distracted by past disappointments and doubts. Help us to fix our eyes on You and the mission You have called us to. Let us remember that every challenge is part of the process of preparation. We trust that You are refining us, making us stronger, and molding us into the person You want us to be. ✝️

God, we pray for perseverance. When we feel weary and unseen, remind us that You are our counselor and our strength. We commit our work, our plans, and our futures into Your hands. May we have the courage to continue forward with faith, knowing that You are always preparing us for the next chapter. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. 🙏

We are now in Day 4 of our 30-Day Letting Go of Egypt Challenge, and I am SO excited for what God is doing! 🕊️ Walking in freedom is one of the most powerful and transformational things we can experience in Christ. I know I’ve said it before, but doing this challenge again with you all is like "Whew ! The Holy Spirit is working!
" 🙌

What I received in prayer today is, What does walking in freedom look like for you? For Ruth, it looked like never worrying about taking care of herself or Naomi, and spending her life with the one she loves. For others, it may look like financial freedom, health, or seeing your children thrive. It’s important to define what freedom means to you. Maybe it’s leaving a financial legacy for your children, ensuring you don’t have to worry about income or necessities in your later years. Or perhaps it's about walking in good health at whatever age you are now. Whatever it is, write it down and commit to it! 📝

Help me figure out what walking in freedom looks like for me, Lord, and give me the courage to commit to it fully. What steps can I take today to walk in the freedom You’ve promised? Let’s lean into His guidance and allow His freedom to lead us into the future He has prepared.

Today and tomorrow, I’ll be sharing some insights from the devotional, but after Day 5, to fully benefit from this challenge, you’ll need the 30-Day Letting Go of Egypt devotional. Grab yours now so you can stay on track and dive deeper with us in this journey.

Day 4: Walking in Freedom
Identity Shift Scripture:
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) "Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"

Devotional:
You are no longer who you were in Egypt. Embrace your new identity in Christ. You are free to live out the purpose He has for you.

Affirmation:
I am a new creation in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us out of Egypt and into freedom. We come before You with a heart of gratitude, acknowledging the new life You’ve given me. We surrender any areas where we are still holding onto the past. Please guide us in defining what freedom looks like in our life. Help us take bold steps toward living out Your purpose and living free from fear and limitation. Lord, Your word says in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim that freedom today. Empower us to walk in it every day. We trust You, and I commit to this journey of transformation. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Type Amen if you agree

Lost Faith? Here's How to Rebuild It 05/26/2025

The Power of Your Voice 🙏

For many years, I didn’t like the sound of my voice. People would say they couldn’t stand it, and one elderly woman even told me that if she had to listen to me, she’d do harm to me. As a child, I was told I talked too much, just for asking questions while trying to learn. These words made me feel like my voice wasn’t valuable, and so, I became silent. I hid my thoughts and ideas, believing no one wanted to hear me.

That silence turned me into an introvert. I would leave my home, unnoticed, and return to a place where I felt like a shadow. But one day, I read the story of Moses. Moses thought no one would listen to him because of the way he spoke. But God showed him that his voice had power.

As I grew closer to God, I realized that my voice, whether spoken or written, has power and anointing. These words are gifts from God, meant to heal, encourage, and transform.

Don’t remain silent. Open your mouth and ask God to give you the words to say. Develop a deeper relationship with God and watch your faith grow stronger each day. Your voice matters!
