It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that Faithful Guardian Training Center shares the passing of our Medical Director, Dr. Raymond Logan Fowler, today.

Although Dr. Fowler had only recently joined the FGTC family, he had already made a meaningful impact on our students, instructors, and training center. We had looked forward to learning so much more from him, and we are deeply grateful for the time we were given.

Dr. Fowler’s legacy reaches far beyond our walls. As a co-founder of the National Association of EMS Physicians, a devoted physician, and an extraordinary educator, he dedicated his life to advancing emergency care and preparing others to serve. His work helped shape the EMS profession that our students are entering today.

Yet, alongside his remarkable accomplishments, we remember his kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care for others. He understood that teaching was another way of caring for patientsβ€”that every lesson shared could make a difference in someone’s life.

We are honored that our training center became a small part of his extraordinary journey. We will carry his example forward through our commitment to our students, our profession, and the patients they will serve.

Our deepest condolences and prayers are with his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless people whose lives he touched.

Rest peacefully, Dr. Fowler. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your heart, and your time with us. You will always be part of the FGTC family. 🀍

πŸš‘ Hands-On Learning in Action! πŸš‘

Our Chatham students recently practiced working a cardiac arrest code in real time, putting their knowledge, teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills to the test!

A huge shoutout to these awesome students for working hard and continuing to strengthen their lifesaving skills. We would also like to recognize their EMS educator, Carol Crockett, for her dynamic approach to classroom instruction and the continued encouragement and support she gives to each of her students.

Great job, everyone! We are proud of you!

Training Thursday: What Inspired You to Choose EMS?

Every EMT, AEMT, and paramedic has a reason they chose this path. For some, it is the opportunity to help others during their greatest time of need. For others, it is the challenge, the teamwork, or the desire to make a lasting difference in their community.

At FGTC, we are proud to help students turn that calling into the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to serve.
