Travis students are learning and experiencing great things at the Nova Lab in Virginia!

Travis students visit Kennedy memorial. They also voted a student’s great grandmother grave and another student’s dad’s best friend grave at Arlington National Cemetery!

Day 3 of our Washington, DC trip saw Arlington National Cemetery where we saw the changing of the guard and two wreath laying ceremonies. We also had a mock humanitarian STEM workshop at the National Museum of the United States Army where the students had to make decisions to save the residents of a town that just had an earthquake. The last event was a ghost tour in historic downtown Alexandria, Virginia.

First day and more of Travis Students on the Washington DC trip! Learning and exploring is so much fun.

Some of our Travis Mustangs are having an exciting learning adventure on the DC STEM Trip!

Yesterday, we they finished the first day in Washington, DC. They did a ton of walking but we were able to see the Lincoln, Jefferson, WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam Memorials. The students were also able to do a surprise visit to the National Archives where we saw the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.

Travis students are at AGI learning about flooding in DC and using Stem tables.
