Over the next few days little man will be taking a diagnostic placement test to see what grade levels he is testing at. So far he is testing at 1st and 2nd grade levels!!! 😍

Forgot to post, but our little man finished all of his Christian Light Kindergarten 2 Curriculum!!! We are still waiting for most of his 1st grade curriculum to come in, sadly there was a delay in shipment due to that week long ice storm. But in the meantime we will be reviewing and taking a placement test.

Forgot to post but little man finished the kindergarten 2: Workbook 4 and Activity books 4

Little man finished his Kindergarten 2: Christian Light Workbook 3 and Activity Book 3!!! It took us a little longer than usual to complete due to the loss of our grandpa, sicknesses, and the holidays, but we pushed through and finished them. Now we are moving on to workbooks #4!!!

Little man had a great time playing Flag Football this year. It was his first time playing a sport and even though his team didn't win any of their games, all of the boys enjoyed learning the sport and making friends so I call that a success!!! Little man is looking forward to playing again next season 🏈

It's been an extremely rough week for homeschooling but we pushed through the tears and frustration and completed the 2nd workbooks for the Kindergarten 2 Christian Light curriculum. Tomorrow little man starts the 3rd workbooks!!!

Hello and Welcome to my page!
My name is Whitney and I am a stay-at-home mommy of a 2-year old little boy (now officially 3 years old). I have 10 years of experience working in the childcare field, and I am also a recent graduate from McLennan Community College, where I earned an AAS degree in Child development. I will be continuing my education to earn a BAS degree so that I can become a Kindergarten teacher. Another one of my goals is to own and operate a NAEYC accredited childcare center.
I created this group to provide parents with fun at home learning activities for toddlers and preschoolers, and from time to time I will add activities for infants as well. These learning activities will include Fine Motor and Gross Motor Activities, Sensory Bin ideas, Arts and Crafts ideas, and Children’s Book ideas. I will also provide Curriculum ideas, Daily Schedule ideas, and the Material List and Directions for each activity that I post.
Please feel free to ask for advice, resource suggestions, and support. I would love to hear about your successes (and failures) of all the learning activities that you try with your child.
