Second grade students used a variety of strategies to practice addition and subtraction. We especially enjoyed drawing on tables to use number bonds and tens frames. We ended the week with a friendly competition of math fact tug of war!

Kindergarten was full of fun learning activities! We practiced fine motor skills, introduced a little writing, and continued to to grow our knowledge with letters and sounds! It’s been a great week!

Third graders are working hard in both reading and math! In reading, they have learned about author’s purpose, audience, and story elements. In math, students worked on creating and solving word problems with equal groups.

First grade has been achieving goals all week! Between sight word wizards, math masters, and AR readers! We are so excited for all the goals that have been mastered in the 300 hall!

Our 4th Grade scientists have been busy exploring the solar system! They’ve been learning about the sun and planets, while carefully observing, researching, and cataloguing their discoveries.

Also, in math, students are working to develop their understanding of place value and number sense with numbers up to one million!
