🎃 Our Mighty Math Tigers had some fun in the pumpkin patch!
Today, students put their place value knowledge to the test during our Pumpkin Patch Place Value Challenge. Using our new place value trays, students built numbers, solved place value riddles and worked together to successfully complete the challenge.
There was plenty of thinking, problem-solving, and math talk happening along the way! And, of course, everyone who successfully completed the challenge earned a mini pumpkin to celebrate their hard work. 🎃

Day 4 of Homecoming Week was Student vs Teachers! Everyone enjoyed dressing up as an adult in the building or teachers dressing as students! Everyone was very creative! We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow in their Tiger Pride gear from head to toe! It’s a great day to be a tiger!

🎉 Homecoming Parade Route

The Homecoming Parade will begin at the staging and drop-off area near Temple High School and travel toward town.
Single vehicles will use the TES Cafeteria parking lot to safely pull out of the parade, disassemble, and make sure all passengers are following traffic laws before returning to town. Trailers and walking groups will return to the high school area as shown by the arrows.
🚗 Important Route Reminder
Please follow the red arrows and stay on your designated side of the road. Students and groups will have specific areas assigned to keep everyone moving safely and the parade organized.

Congratulations to Yurem, Noah, and Lily on the September Estimation challenge. The challenge this past month was to estimate Mr. Jensen’s 40 yard dash time based on the times of NFL players.

Yurem and Noah were only 0.2 seconds away from the actually time and Lily got it exactly correct! Check out the video to see the results and hear about the October Estimation Challenge.
