Students- Thank you for showing up each day ready to learn & grow, the laughs, and for all the memories in between.
Parents- Thank you for the late nights, the early mornings, the mid-day drop offs, the kind messages of support, & the special gifts of your time and resources.
Our PTO- Thank you for all the time spent supporting our staff through copies, lunches, snacks, fundraisers, yearbooks, and all the things seen and behind the scenes.
Staff- Thank you for the time spent planning exceptional learning opportunities, showing each and every day for kids, & going above and beyond to make Charter Oak such a special place to be.

Therapy Dog Trainer in the Making🐶

Today, Go Team Therapy/Crisis Dogs Central Texas came to our campus for a very special presentation. Our very own Cheetah, Hadley, has been working for the past two years to advocate for therapy dog visits on our campus. Through working lunches with her classmates & Mrs. Thomas to doing her own research, she has invested so much of her time and heart to these visits. For her effort, she was presented with a special award and invitation to attend one of their dog trainer sessions. We are so proud of Hadley and our Cheetahs for using their voices to make Charter Oak such an amazing place to be!❤️

New Whistles on the Block👟

4th grader, Coach Hannah, & 1st grader, Coach Seiler, were issued an official P.E. whistle and got to be guest coaches in the gym! They led their fellow classmates through warm-ups, stretches, & games. Coach Hannah & Seiler made sure our Cheetahs were listening, working as a team, and displaying sportsmanship. Great job, ladies!🐆

5th Grade Heads to RALPH WILSON🚌

As their elementary careers come to a close, our 5th grade Cheetahs got to have a day of fun at Ralph Wilson Youth Club! They also got to wear their 5th grade shirt that they designed & voted for. All students were able to get a shirt and participate in their day of fun because of their snack sale funds! We are so proud of all of our 5th graders’ (and their families!❤️) accomplishments and hard work this year to make this day possible!🥳

2nd Grade GARDENERS 🌱

After 5 weeks of planting, watering, learning, & patiently waiting, our 2nd grade Cheetahs finally got to enjoy the seeds they planted in their hydroponic tower! This past week, they celebrated with a salad party and tasted their fresh kale, spinach, gourmet lettuce, arugula, basil, & dill. Watching their plants grow from tiny seeds into something they could actually eat was such a fun & rewarding experience for the students! 🥗

PARAPROFESSIONAL APPRECIATION DAY💐

Yesterday we got to celebrate the amazing people across our campus that do it ALL! From lunch rooms to classrooms to workrooms to playgrounds, our paraprofessionals serve & love on kids so incredibly well. We are grateful each and every day for the phenomenal work our paraprofessionals do for our Charter Oak Family!❤️

We are SO proud of our very own Mrs. Arroyo for winning DISTRICT Teacher of the Year!!! 🥳

5th Grade’s first ever MARKET DAY!🛒

Charter Oak’s 5th graders have been working hard the past month hard creating a product or a service to sell for business! Using the advice they received from the Lake Belton High School’s Entrepreneur Program, they made a company name, logo, mission statement & a sales plan. This past Friday, they invited the whole school to their market where the were able to sell their good or service. We are so incredibly proud of their creativity and entrepreneurship! And an extra special thank you to everyone who stopped by to shop🛍️
