Little Angels Learning Center is looking for Teachers and Aides! Experience is preferred, but not necessary. We will provide on site training as well as CPR/First Aide certification. Individuals must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a background check.

We work with ages 1-5 in a curriculum based setting with a Christian focus! We offer competitive salary pay, free childcare for employees, and follow the TISD calendar for school breaks/holidays.

This is an OUTREACH program our Little Angels MDO participate in. The looks in their eyes when they know they are helping other little kids is out of this world.

Lifting the spirits of chronically ill children is the goal of the Jared Box Project.
A Jared Box is a small plastic storage box filled with toys, games, and activities. The boxes will be given to children at McLane Children’s Hospital as they receive chemotherapy or similar medical treatments.
A box costs around $20 to fill.
To learn more about this great project, refer to www.thejaredbox.com. Over 200,000 Jared Boxes have been made across the country. The boxes entertain and lift the spirits of these brave little patients.

The Boxes are given to a child in Mclane Childrens Hospital in Temple Texas who have to stay in the hospital for a period of time. Moms who are participating in our yard sales this Saturday.
Danelle will be at the school on Friday from 9-1 if you wish to set up before Saturday morning. Otherwise, I will be at the school Saturday at 7 AM for you to come early to set up. Enter through the Kitchen door on the East side of the building.

Here are a few tips to think about before you show up Saturday.

MOM2MOM SALE
Mom 2 Mom Sales can be an inexpensive way to stock up on children’s clothes & toys. It is also a convenient way to make money by selling clothes & toys your children have overgrown. Sales Tips for Sellers:
· Come prepared! Bring bags to put the items in that you sell at the sale.
· Come with plenty of dollar bills and change. It is your responsibility to have this for your customers.
· Do not leave your money accessible to the general public. A hip bag/fanny pack is an idea since it has more than one compartment.
· You will be offered a lower price at one time or another. It is up to you if you want to bargain.
· Making a sign to let the public know what size and gender of clothes you have will make things go easier. Clearly label each item with price AND size. It also helps to sort your items by size.
· Make sure that your items are CLEAN. If there is a problem (zipper needs replacing) you should make sure that is known. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check it out, but if you are up front and let them know, they will know that your table is a reputable one. Do your best to get out stains, if you are selling sizable items, make sure you clean those also – people are more likely to buy an item at a sale that looks newer, rather than one where they would have to clean before use.
· Make sure that your two & three-piece items are connected together in some way, by safety pins or a single run-thru with needle and thread tied off.
· It is a good idea to have a helper at your table.
· If you are not willing to barter on the price, post a sign that all prices are firm. On the other hand, if you are willing to barter, you may want to put a sign saying, “no reasonable offers refused”. However, keep in mind that if your prices are too high shoppers might pass up buying things, and you may end up with a lot to carry back home. It is all up to you; it is your table.
· If you are sharing a table with someone else, make sure that you have different tags to collect as you make the sale to assure both parties get their rightful monies.
· After the sale, if you do not want to haul the unsold stuff back home, inquire about places that you can donate your items to, such as the Salvation Army, or Goodwill.
· If you sign up to rent a table, remember that you must be at your table with your items until the end of the sale
