250 Years, Still Cultivating
Two hundred fifty years have passed,
Since freedom's seed was first cast.
Planted deep in hopeful ground,
Where courage dared and dreams were found.
A nation rose through toil and tears,
Growing stronger through the years.
Not perfect soil, yet still we sow,
Believing better things can grow.
At Cultivate Academy we know
The greatest harvest starts below—
Within a child's awakened heart,
Where purpose, truth, and wisdom start.
We read to learn.
We learn to lead.
We plant both knowledge
And every seed.
Hands in gardens,
Books in hand,
Feet prepared
To serve the land.
We study history,
Not to stay behind,
But to build tomorrow
With heart and mind.
Our classrooms bloom
Beneath the sky,
Where questions soar
And eagles fly.
We honor farmers,
Builders, teachers,
Makers, dreamers,
Faithful leaders.
For freedom is more
Than words we recite.
It lives in choosing
What is good and right.
It grows through service,
Love, and grace;
Through caring well
For every place.
It flourishes when children know
The gifts God placed within to grow.
When they discover they were made
To cultivate—not simply trade.
So on this Fourth of July,
As fireworks paint the evening sky,
We thank the generations past,
Whose sacrifice still echoes fast.
And we accept the work ahead,
To nourish minds,
To share our bread,
To heal communities,
Restore the land,
And leave hope blooming
Hand in hand.
May the next 250 years
Be planted well today—
With readers becoming leaders,
With gardens feeding families,
With children discovering purpose,
And with hearts rooted
In faith,
In wisdom,
In service,
And in love.
For the brightest future
Will not be built by chance.
It will be cultivated.
