We get in the car to leave this morning and this is the first thing we hear on the radio:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Instead focus on what is TRUE…” Philippians 4:6-8.

The meaning of the verse is believers are told not to worry or feel anxious about any part of life.

Instead of worrying, people should bring their needs to God through prayer and asking (petition).

Prayers should include thankfulness for what God has already done.

Philippians 4:7 promises that God's peace will guard hearts and minds. This peace is greater than human logic and protects people from fear.

Thank you Lord Jesus.
