Enjoying the summer rain, thunder and lightning this morning! ⛈
Our friends are loving this unexpected weather! It’s a great opportunity to observe our environment with all our senses by seeing the rain and flashes of lightning, hearing the rain fall and rumbles of thunder, and more!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week and Provider Appreciation Day to all of our teachers and providers! 🍎
A special shout out to one of our favorite teachers, Miss Jenn! You bring us all such incredible joy and make such a profound impact on all our children and adults. We love and appreciate you so much, and can’t imagine growing without you! 🥰

When I introduce our program, one of the most frequently asked questions is “what is your daily schedule like?” and that’s a great question!
I wish I could offer a more definitive answer, but I always refer to our daily schedule and add that it’ll really vary depending on the children and their needs/interests. Vague, I know.
I can’t tell you how much I emphasize that it’s really up to the children and what they’re in the mood for during the day. Really, our day can lead anywhere! But what does that really mean?
Here’s an example: One of our children decides to work with the building blocks on her own while her classmates occasionally trickle in and out to offer some verbal and physical contributions/support.
She continues to build higher and higher, and sometimes the entire structure will come tumbling down, but what’s most important is that we acknowledge what had happened and ask her what she’d like to do next. We encourage her to not only to figure out what her next steps are, but also offer her support to rebuild, try again, think creatively and recognize her accomplishments through such practice/hard work. 💪

✨We love Ms. Jenn! ✨
Our friends’ hearts grow bigger as more educators join our community to build relationships and everlasting memories with us.
Our early childhood years create the foundation for learning as we nurture the heart, body and mind to feel safe in our space to apply towards navigating others, as well as communicating our individual wants and needs while listening to our peers.
It’s such a magical time!
It’s the little things! ✨
This is definitely one of our favorite moments. Our friends are enjoying such big and positive emotions with each other, and of all this is brought to us by practicing mindfulness towards ourselves and others, topped with our playfulness. 🤩
We want to make sure our friends feel safe and secure, and can also communicate when they’re not to ensure we maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing space for them to learn and grow.

One morning, we were exploring outside when we discovered that the doorbell on our playhouse wasn’t working. We pressed it several times in hopes of hearing the doorbell ring, but nothing.
Then, the investigation began! 🕵️♀️
We grabbed our toolbox for a screwdriver, and started to remove the screws from the doorbell. Throughout the process, we used plenty of descriptive words from colors, to size, to positional words to describe what we were doing.
Once all parts were removed and inspected for safety, we allowed our friends to examine each part and experiment with the screwdriver and screws. Such a great experiment to practice fine motor and practical life skills! 👨🔧

It never ceases to amaze me how one material can be used in so many different ways. Check out our friends with our from !
Our friends are such creative thinkers and each work in their own ways by stacking, standing up and moving small pieces.

It’s a beautiful day outside and we’re enjoying it with water play! While our friends practice scooping and pouring on different surfaces, we’re describing it verbally.
We go off on an adventure and… we’ve discovered our plants!
Stay tuned as we begin introducing our gardening project soon! 🤩
