Public service is about more than a career — it’s about making an impact.
At The College, students prepare for careers in politics, law, government and nonprofit leadership through hands-on learning experiences that bring classroom knowledge into real-world settings.
Programs in the ASU School of Politics and Global Studies, including the Arizona Legislative and Government Internship and the Capital Scholars Program, help students build the skills and confidence to step into meaningful public service roles.

It’s 🔱 and of course Sparky makes time for the humanities.
Throwback to when he brought his green thumb to show support for our Dig In Humanities Lab event. The lab brings humanities learning to life through hands-on, creative exploration, including a little plant potting with ASU’s most iconic Sun Devil. 🪴
And did you know? He even has his own garden! 🌱 Sparky’s Garden on the Tempe campus is a living classroom where students, faculty and staff grow food, build community and learn about sustainability in Arizona’s desert environment.

Research from the School of Earth and Space Exploration at ASU suggests that Triton, Neptune's largest moon, may be hiding an ocean beneath its icy surface. 🚀đź”
The study, led by doctoral student Lana Tilke and published in Nature Astronomy, used computer models to trace Triton’s evolution over billions of years. The findings indicate that the moon's core may be gradually freezing, generating fluid motions that could sustain a magnetic field — similar to the process that powers Earth's magnetic field today.
