Thank you to all our presenters for making our conference wonderful this year. Below are some highlights from our final session of the day Sandi Marinella presents The Story You Need To Tell Project, Sean Greenwell from Auga Fria HS, and Melanie Sturgeon from Arizona Women’s History Alliance.

Session 3 has amazing presentations from Nancie Lindblom and Heather Lewis from Mountain View HS discussing WWII, and Leah Harrison from SRP discussing Oral History in the classroom.

Sam Mihara, our Conference Keynote Speaker, discusses his experience in a Japanese Internment Camp during WWII. Mr. Mihara embodies our theme of Breaking Barriers: Voices that Impact Our Story.

Morning sessions were a hit! Inspirational lessons about how to help students find their voices using historical figures as a precedent.
