One of the best things about Kindergarten at Dayspring is monthly field trips! Take a sneak peek into the kindergarten's class trip to Dobson Ranch Golf Course last week. ⛳

Come by our table at the Dobson Ranch Artisan Market! We’ll have a sensory table for children to dig for treasure and take home! If you want to learn more about our school and curriculum, this is a great opportunity for a face to face meeting. The Artisan Market will run from 9am-3pm at La Casita Recreation Center (2719 S. Reyes, Mesa 85202). See you there!

Are your littles dressing up cute this week for Valentine’s Day? Swing by the front office and take some photos in front of our festive backdrop! We’d love to see the sweet moments you capture! 😍

Kindergarten has a 15 minute drop off window in the mornings. It’s a great opportunity to greet teachers, classmates and parents as you help your child get settled for their day. An added bonus is the younger siblings who get to take a few minutes to explore their potential future classroom! Learning is a lifelong journey and should be both fun and meaningful. Mrs. Carter and Mrs. McFarlan create the perfect classroom environment for little learners. These two are exploring the science table and experimenting with magnets 🤩🧲🧑‍🔬

The 3-Day 4’s Class is getting into the Valentine’s spirit this week with new books, sensory play items and a fun Monster craft, based on Rachel Bright’s “Love Monster” book.

Play isn’t a break from learning. It IS learning. At Dayspring, we encourage play-based learning, as it is the most developmentally appropriate and effective way for young children to practice their many emerging skills. We want our students to love learning for their whole life! School can and should be both educational AND fun.

Extended Day STEAM got to mix art and science this week with a color wheel activity, and make their own dot artwork inspired by Peter Reynolds’s book “The Dot” 😍
