The goal of the LIT Scholarship Program is to discover ways to help educate, inspire, and transform pioneers on the journey to success primarily by providing students with the accessibility to academic resources. One group decided to change their experience by going on L.I.T. During these trips, they quickly came to a clear consensus. Adulting is a monumental life change that many people aren't pr

epared for. We want to help others that are challenged with limited resources. In addition to the hardships of adulting, young scholars are burdened by layered students loans or continued struggles of paying their way through school. While planning a L.I.T. get-a-way to Denver, these friends decided that they wanted to help others who are trying to navigate their way through adulthood by establishing a scholarship fund for students who are attending an accredited 2-4 year institution and/or a candidate for graduation from an accredited 2-4 year institution. In the future, the goal of the scholarship program is invite other young professionals to L.I.T. get-a-ways with opportunities to give a small contribution, while collectively creating a huge impact.

The past several months have been tough for all of us. They have revealed longstanding issues of health disparity, economic disparity and flat out racism and inequality that our country has faced for years.

Our goal is to help educate and inspire the next generation to make a transformation in our community. We will continue to live out this goal as we figure out the best ways to help during this time. We encourage everyone to take a look at their community and find ways to get involved. This fight will require us to come together. Our stance is clear, to us and we will continue to pour into the education and training of the next generation of great Black leaders. Stay safe.

Guess who’s back? Back again? L.I.T. is back, tell a friend! Say hello to Leon Jones III, 2020 LIT Scholar! Leon is a Political Science major at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Leon is constantly striving to gain more knowledge to help the people on his campus. He recently worked to reform his school’s SGA constitution which helped the school government run better. 🏛 We look forward to getting know Leon and helping him to further his impact. Patience majors in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Arkansas. She’s hoping to combine her major and her minor to make online shopping more efficient to better fit the needs of consumers who shop online. L.I.T. (Learning, Inspiring and Transforming) is an educational foundation committed to discovering ways to help educate, inspire, and transform promising students on the journey to success primarily by providing them with accessibility to academic resources during their Spring semester at an accredited 2-4 year institution.

The requirements for eligibility are a 2.25 GPA and enrolled at a 2 or 4 year accredited institution for Spring 2020.

Giveaway Rules:

2. In an IG video answer the question: Who are you and how are you L.I.T. (Learning, Inspiring and Transforming)? Tag both and
3. Attend Brunch·ish on November 16th and bring your transcript. Please write your IG handle on your transcript
