Sun Devil Sport Clubs The SDS is designed to promote the individual sports clubs within the University as well as the surrounding communities.

Being the second largest organization on campus, there is a unique sense of community amongst the sport club members. With initiatives such as the buddy system, exec board mentors, and gold games, the members are encouraged to support one another. By also providing funding, practice space and advisement, the SDS is able to bring students together to have fun and compete at a collegiate level. Most

Last week, our Women's Club Gymnastics Team hosted the NAIGC Regional Championship. There were over 60 athletes competing from 8 different teams. ASU took 4th overall, and 1st in the level 8 and 9 division of the competition! Individually- they had four girls place 3rd and three girls place 2nd in their events! Congrats, girls!

The Women's Water Polo Club traveled to the University of California, Irvine for a preseason tournament last weekend. They played well as a team and were able to prepare for their upcoming season! They also won the tournament costume contest, dressed as water polo balls! Looking to the future, ASU Women's Club Water Polo is excited to kickoff their season in the spring. They will be hosting the first water polo tournament of the season on February 16-17 at the SDFC, so make sure to come out and support the team!

Congratulations to Jordan Cano, Devil DanceSport alumni and ASU senior, who just competed in his first competition as a professional ballroom dancer! He competed in the Pro-Am category, and he and his partner placed top three in every event they competed in. Great job, Jordan!

This past weekend, Sun Devil Water Ski at ASU competed in the West Coast Water Ski Regional tournament. The team as a whole placed 2nd overall, and in the individual events Jana Grubbs won women's overall and Jackson Bains and Alec Vaio tied for 3rd in men's overall. Congratulations, Water Ski!

Congrats to our Dragon Boat team on a successful weekend in San Diego!

Thank you San Diego for giving us the opportunity to compete within your 9th Annual San Diego International Dragon Boat Race. We had blast racing against many other teams over the weekend! Last Sunday at the Tempe Triathlon, ASU Triathlon member Ashley Cheff took first overall in her division out of 160 competitors! Lane Barron, Nick Kolesov, and Tyler Kelly swept the men's collegiate division, Sam Joray took 3rd in women's collegiate, and Kyle Duffy took 1st in the Men's age 20-24 division!
