Tempe Union's comprehensive high schools include Tempe High, McClintock, Marcos de Niza, Corona del Sol, Mountain Pointe, and Desert Vista. The Peggy Payne Academy for gifted students is located on the McClintock campus and the District's International Baccalaureate Programme resides at Tempe High. OUR VISION: All students will graduate with the knowledge, understanding and ability to apply skills necessary for success in college, career, and life.

Last night, we celebrated our incredible CTE students at our CTE Student Recognition Night!

Congratulations to all of the students recognized for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the year. We are so proud of everything you’ve achieved!

A huge thank you to the families who joined us to celebrate, and to our Culinary students and staff for keeping everyone well fed with an amazing meal.

Congratulations to Desert Vista senior Eden Enger on earning the prestigious NROTC scholarship, valued at $200,000.

Eden has demonstrated excellence both in and out of the classroom. This highly competitive scholarship recognizes her hard work, academic achievement, and commitment to service, helping pave the way for her future as she continues her educational journey.

Congratulations to Mr. Ben Forbes, the 2026 recipient of the Forest F. Martin Memorial Award, presented by the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association for excellence in journalism education.

Since 2007, Ben has led [cdstv], Corona del Sol’s award-winning film and TV program, inspiring student storytellers and building one of the state’s premier media programs. Alongside his students, he has earned numerous local, state, and regional honors over the years, including Rocky Mountain Emmys.

A well-deserved recognition for an educator whose impact continues to shape the next generation of journalists and filmmakers.
