The Rotary Club of Tempe Downtown

it was a pleasure to help those with disabilities.

In April 2024, Tempe Downtown Rotary had two community service projects.
5 members attended Feed My Starving Children and placed labels on the bags of food that were heading to Africa.
4 members attended Treasures 4 Teachers and made 400 journals for teachers to give their students so the students have something to write on and take notes. Members volunteer at Treasures 4 Teachers the 3rd Saturday morning of every month.

Two phoenix Rotoracts helping Tempe Downtown Rotary volunteer at Treasures 4 Teachers today,
Altogether, 5 of us got a lot of work done for T4T and the teachers that need equipment for their students.

Tempe Downtown Rotary and 2 Phoenix Rotoracts volunteered at Treasures 4 Teachers this morning. We counted and placed 30 lead pencils into each bag for teachers to give their students. One other project was also completed; taking CDs and DVDs out of cases to be used for art projects.

Rotary International and all the members continue to work and donate to total polio eradication in the world.

Sean came to visit from Uganda! He is the head of te school and a born teacher. While here in Phoenix he has spoken at the Tempe Downtown Rotary Club; Kyrene Rotary Club; Crossroads Rotary Club, and a Kiwanis Club.
