Nothing says “welcome back” like a cool treat! ☀️🩵

Today, PTA helped everyone beat the summer heat by passing out Otter Pops to celebrate a great start to the school year. We hope our Warriors enjoyed a refreshing treat after a fantastic first few days back on campus!

📋 Review the 2026–2027 School Supply List
🏷️ Label backpacks, lunch boxes, and water bottles
📧 Check your email and ParentSquare for important updates from the school
⏰ Start easing back into your school-year routine with earlier bedtimes and wake-up times

🍎 Fueling our amazing teachers for an incredible school year! 💙💛

Last Thursday, the Ward PTA had the pleasure of welcoming our teachers and staff back with breakfast as they prepared for another exciting year.

It’s a small way to say thank you for the countless hours, dedication, and care they pour into our students every single day. We are so grateful for everything they do to make Ward such a special place.

To all of our teachers and staff, welcome back! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things this school year has in store.

That’s a wrap on another amazing school year!

Today, the Ward PTA had the pleasure of helping celebrate our Ward Warriors by passing out Otter Pops to students as they headed into summer break.

After a year filled with learning, growth, hard work, and achievements, our students have earned a well-deserved celebration. We are so proud of everything they accomplished this year and grateful to our incredible teachers, staff, and families who helped make it all possible.

We hope every Ward Warrior has a fun, safe, and memorable summer filled with adventure, laughter, and plenty of time to relax.

Congratulations to our final Blue Ticket Prize Winners of the school year!

These Ward Warriors were selected from the many students who earned Blue Tickets by demonstrating positive behavior, making good choices, and showing what it means to be a leader at Ward.

This month’s winners received some awesome prizes, including an Amazon gift card, a Target gift card, McDonald’s and Raising Cane’s meals for themselves and a friend!

We are so proud of these students and all of the Ward Warriors who worked hard throughout the year to earn Blue Tickets. Keep up the great work and congratulations to our winners!

After years of dedication, kindness, and service to the Ward community, we are celebrating the retirement of a very special member of the Ward family, Ms. Pam!

As the heart of the front office, Ms. Pam has been one of the first smiling faces to welcome students, families, staff, and visitors each day. From answering countless questions and solving unexpected problems to offering a kind word when it was needed most, she has helped keep Ward running smoothly while making everyone feel seen and supported.

Over the years, she has touched the lives of so many Ward Warriors and their families. Her impact reaches far beyond the front office and will be felt for years to come.

Ms. Pam, thank you for your dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment to our school community. We wish you a retirement filled with happiness, adventure, relaxation, and all the things you love most.

For many Ward Warriors and parents, the school day started with a smile, a cheerful greeting, and some fun music from Ms. Jackie at the crosswalk.

Rain or shine, she made every morning brighter. She took the time to learn students’ names, knew many parents by name, and created a welcoming start to the day that made Ward feel like home. Her positivity, energy, and genuine care for our community have made a lasting impact on so many families.

While we will miss seeing Ms. Jackie at the crosswalk each morning, we’re excited that she isn’t going far! Next year, she will be bringing that same warmth and friendly smile to the front office.

Thank you, Ms. Jackie, for being a bright light in our mornings and for all the ways you have helped make Ward such a special place. Congratulations on your new role. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do in the office!

Over the past week, our Ward Warriors had the opportunity to leave a special message for someone who has meant so much to our school community.

We were able to present Mr. Bobby with the apron covered in signatures, drawings, and well wishes from the students whose days he has helped brighten throughout the years.

As Mr. Bobby begins his retirement, we want to thank him for his dedication, kindness, and the countless meals he prepared with care. His impact extends far beyond the cafeteria. He has been a familiar face, a friendly smile, and an important part of what makes Ward feel like home.

Mr. Bobby, thank you for everything you have done for our students, staff, and families. We hope this apron serves as a reminder of the many lives you have touched and how much you will be missed.

Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for being part of the Ward family.
