Congratulations to our Philanthropy Week Organization Winner: DELTA SIGMA PI!

Philo Week was all about community service and combining efforts to raise money for the Pitchfork Pantry. Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity on campus, made the largest impact this week through their consistent attendance and involvement! Known for fostering principled leadership and professional development, their members proved that their commitment to excellence extends far beyond the classroom and into the heart of our community. We are incredibly grateful for this organization’s dedication to creating a better environment for everyone.

From supporting our percentage night at Someburros to showing up for trivia game night and the volleyball tournament, their presence was felt at every event. On top of this, they also helped make the W. P. Carey Gala a memorable finale to an impactful week of giving back. Their enthusiasm and commitment truly embodied the spirit of Philanthropy Week.

Congratulations to our Pitchfork Pantry Participant Award winner: Havish Premkumar! 🏆

A sophomore studying Business Communications, Havish Premkumar is a dedicated leader within the W. P. Carey community. He is heavily involved on campus as a strategist for adworks and as the Vice President of Sponsorships for AMA, roles in which he consistently demonstrates creativity and a collaborative spirit.

Throughout Philanthropy Week, Havish truly embodied the principle of "service above self." Whether he was the first to arrive at daily events or making generous financial contributions to fundraising efforts, his commitment to making an impact never wavered. By building meaningful connections and inspiring his peers to give back, Havish has set an incredible example of leadership through service. We are deeply grateful for his dedication and are proud to recognize him for his positive impact on our community.

Congratulations to our BSC Service Scholar Award winner: Evelyn Lemm!🏆

This award recognizes a student who truly exemplifies a commitment to community service and leadership. As the President of the Women’s Business Leaders Association (WBLA), Evelyn’s dedication to giving back was on full display throughout Philanthropy Week.

From her consistent presence at our events to her tireless support in raising funds for the Pitchfork Pantry, Evelyn’s participation was instrumental in making the week a success. Her ability to lead her organization while remaining deeply hands-on with our collective service goals perfectly embodies the spirit of a Service Scholar. We are incredibly proud to celebrate her hard work and the lasting positive influence she continues to have within the business school!
