Tutor for Accuplacer Math

Many people are going back to college as part of their New Year resolutions. If you are going to any of the Maricopa Community Colleges, they will probably require that you take an Accuplacer Math Placement test.

Don't take your test unprepared! Go to: https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/student/practice. There you can either try their practice app for math or download a pdf of any of their three placement tests: 1) Next Gen Arithmetic, 2) Next Gen Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics, and 3) Next Gen Advanced Algebra and Functions.

If you don't do well, you could place into Arithmetic/MAT08X, Intro Algebra/MAT09X or Intermediate Algebra/MAT12X. These courses are one semester (16 weeks) long and $89/credit hour. While these can cost you time and money, these are "developmental" math and do not count for college credit. So try the Accuplacer practice tests.
