Experience the Grand Canyon like never before, working directly with Park staff and leadership. Students will learn about the history of the Grand Canyon, the origin of the Park and the broader environmental and human narratives of American National Park History.

We are so excited to offer a Public History Field Experience course in the Fall at Grand Canyon National Park! The HST485/HST580 hybrid course will include five days at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, where students explore the history of America’s National Parks through the lens of GCNP. Interested? Study USA part 1 done! Three days in DC exploring… onto the National World War II Museum in New Orleans!

Study USA part 1 in the books! Students spent 3 days in Washington DC visiting monuments, memorials and museums, and exploring how memory is shaped.
