Are you ready for story time? My Nissan went out again. Yes my two year old car was in the fritz. This time it was the alternator and serpentine belt.
The dealership quoted me $2400. You heard that right.
So after getting over the what the entire f’s. And no it is not covered by the warranty feelings. I reached out to Car Guy LLC. I stumbled on this place over 12 years ago and loved their philosophy and work. Family owned and honest.
So I called to see if they worked on Nissans they said yes. He asked how much the dealer quoted me. I told him and he said “Ludacris” and not in the good way like the rapper. Long story short the repairs were $1349.
And that’s not the best part. The business is on a family compound now. They have pigs and chickens and plants.
He went on to say that his lease at the mechanic shop was $5400 and his home business with his house is $4000 a month. And people drop off plants that would be thrown away.
So I left with plants a new alternator and was invited back tomorrow for fresh eggs, more plants, and a case of beer 🤣
This is why shopping small matters!

Yesterday was truly special. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated 602 Day with us.
