ASU Graphic Design Student Association The GDSA represents 450+ ASU Graphic Design students, hundreds of alumni, and many local professionals.

The Graphic Design Student Association (GDSA) for Arizona State University is a large campus organization that represents the entire ASU Graphic Design community. GDSA’s Impact:
- GDSA has been a registered student organization for over ten years
- Mookesh Patel and Alfred Sanft, both acclaimed faculty and renowned graphic design professionals, represent our organization
- Hosted various design

competitions including t-shirt, poster, and logo competitions, thereby enriching student’s portfolios
- Our small leadership team of 4–11 students works extremely hard to organize large programs with an even larger impact
- Our events pull in professional alumni who have graduated anywhere from 1 year to 10 years in the past, who then support ASU

Our senior exhibition is officially over!! 🎉

Congratulations to our VCD seniors on a successful show! Thank you so much to everyone who attended and supported this exhibition! We hope you learned a lot about different social issues plaguing our world and NASA’s Psyche Mission!

It’s been a tireless semester for the VCD senior class working on this exhibition, and we could not be more happy and proud of how well the finished product turned out! We are so grateful to have been able to celebrate the commencement of our 4th year as designers with all of our family, friends, and peers! 💫🌟✨

It’s time to pursue new directions. ↘

Congratulations to Clara for developing this year’s Social Issue and NASA Psyche Exhibition theme: “Change Directions.”

All 76 senior graphic design students spent the past few weeks designing a poster for the exhibition, and after a collective vote, Clara’s design was proudly selected to inspire our capstone exhibit’s theme, branding, and collateral moving forward.

We are also excited to announce that this will be the first year that our exhibit showcases both in-person and online students! We’re beyond thrilled to bring it to life and share this groundbreaking event with you all at the end of the semester.

Happy first day back! 🤓We hope you all had a restful winter break! ❄️The senior class is so excited to be back in studio. We can’t wait for everything that’s in store for our final semester! Our class looks forward to diving deeper into our capstone topics, developing our portfolios, and savoring the final months of life as design students! 👩‍💻🧑‍💻

Round of applause for all of our generous donors! These incredible designers played an integral part in supplying us with their work for our show, and deserve nothing short of praise & recognition! Our show couldn’t have happened without them!
We’d also like to extend a humongous thank you to all of the faces we saw at our 16th Annual Poster Show and Auction. Pressed for Paper was a remarkable success thanks to everyone that supported our class monetarily and in spirit!
