It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Peregrine Falcon! This semester the children learned about animals and their amazing super powers. From speedy cheetahs, to bioluminescent bugs and indestructible tardigrades our kiddos have learned and explored much of our animal kingdom. At the end of our semester, the children learned about human beings and how we can mimic many of the powers that animals have (fly in airplanes, drive fast cars, and become lava proof in heat suits)! The CSL was also able to continue teaching remotely to those unable to come in-person via our CSL Sync! We are so thankful for the opportunity to teach kids from anywhere in the world! To keep our in-person staff and students safe during the holiday season, we celebrated our Halloween and Harvest Festival in a way that minimized exposure and maximized fun! Trick-or-Treating was done right upstairs by our wonderful Psychology Faculty and our Harvest Festival might have been smaller, but the little ones had a great time picking fruit from the garden to help make our famous CSL fruit turkey. We cannot express how much we love being back in-person and seeing everyone's wonderful faces-or at least the upper half. Excited to see what next semester brings for us and we hope you'll be here to watch it with us :)

WE ARE BACK!!! It's hard to believe it's been over a year since we have had little ones running, laughing and playing here at the CSL. The children- and teachers- did a phenomenal job doing an entire school year online but we are thrilled to be back. Our program has evolved and adapted over this past year to create something even more unique than what we had before; CSL Sync. CSL Sync allows us to simultaneously broadcast portions of our in-person program to online kids. This means, children all can experience our one-of-a-kind CSL curricula from any corner of the globe. Our program now accepts both online and in-person children to be part of a fun and stimulating classroom. The children are learning about the spectacular world of flight as part of our gifted curriculum this summer! Airplanes, drones, and hot air balloons are just a few of the items on this curriculum's list of fun things the children will have the opportunity to learn about. If you would like to sign your child up for the Fall semester, please email our program's director at [email protected]! We hope to see many new and old faces come August but, in the meantime, please fasten your seatbelts so we can explore this new and fascinating world together! :)

Faster than a speeding plane, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Who can accomplish these amazing feats you might ask? We'll it's your friendly-neighborhood superhero of course! This summer, the children will be learning about superheroes, both real and fiction! In our society, we have real-life superheroes that battle bad guys and help those in need. This connection between comic book crusader and emergency personnel will be how the heroes of the CSL (our fantastic teachers) will teach our kiddos. From the Dr. Strange-precision demonstrated by physicians, to the Flash-like speediness of EMTs, to the Ironman-scientific skills displayed by scientists, and all the way to the Batman-esk detective skills of police officers, we made sure to cover everyone! We hope all of you are well and are ready to go to infinity and beyond, because that's where this curriculum is taking us!

Virtual Field Trip with Teacher Dustin - Fountain Park 05/10/2020

Our semester and school year have come to an end. To our awesome teachers, we can never say this enough, "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!" In just a short time, the way we taught our kiddos was flipped 180 degrees but that did not stop you from reaching out and ensuring that the children continued receiving great interactive and enriching education! Even though Teacher Appreciation week has come to an end, we hope that everyone continues supporting and admiring these wonderful individuals!

Please enjoy the final batch of videos found below this message! Stay happy and healthy everyone!
