It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Peregrine Falcon! This semester the children learned about animals and their amazing super powers. From speedy cheetahs, to bioluminescent bugs and indestructible tardigrades our kiddos have learned and explored much of our animal kingdom. At the end of our semester, the children learned about human beings and how we can mimic many of the powers that animals have (fly in airplanes, drive fast cars, and become lava proof in heat suits)! The CSL was also able to continue teaching remotely to those unable to come in-person via our CSL Sync! We are so thankful for the opportunity to teach kids from anywhere in the world! To keep our in-person staff and students safe during the holiday season, we celebrated our Halloween and Harvest Festival in a way that minimized exposure and maximized fun! Trick-or-Treating was done right upstairs by our wonderful Psychology Faculty and our Harvest Festival might have been smaller, but the little ones had a great time picking fruit from the garden to help make our famous CSL fruit turkey. We cannot express how much we love being back in-person and seeing everyone's wonderful faces-or at least the upper half. Excited to see what next semester brings for us and we hope you'll be here to watch it with us :)
