💛 WHAT’S MY WHY WEDNESDAY? 💛
Behind every great educator is a why. ✨
Today, we’re highlighting our Regional Director, Ms. Brianna, and the heart behind what she does to serve our campuses. From building relationships to celebrating the little wins, Ms. Brianna shows up every day because she believes in the potential of every student. 🫶
My WHY: “I didn’t necessarily start out knowing exactly where my career would take me, but I always knew I wanted to work with kids. Growing up with a mom who was a teacher, I knew early on that general education wasn’t quite the path I wanted to take. In high school, I had the opportunity to work in a preschool classroom that included students with special needs, and that’s where I really fell in love with this work. I went on to pursue speech therapy and spent time providing in-home speech services before finding my way into private day programming 14 years ago. What started as a career has become something so much more meaningful to me. I’ve had the privilege of watching students grow, overcome challenges, find their voices, and accomplish things that others may have once thought weren’t possible. Over the years, my role has changed. I’m no longer impacting students only through the work I do directly with them; today, I have the opportunity to impact the staff who work with them every single day. If I can support, encourage, and develop the people who are in the schools every day, I get to make an even bigger difference in the lives of our students. After over 20 years in the field, I still love this work because at the heart of everything we do are kids who deserve to be seen, understood, supported, and given every opportunity to thrive.”
