Tempe Prep NHS students are bringing Random Acts of Kindness to the TPA campus! Buy a sticky note after school this week for just 25 cents and write a note of kindness to a friend, teacher, or the school that will be posted on the school office windows on Friday!

Thanks to all Tempe Prep NHS students for getting into the Thanksgiving spirit with our Feathers for Food project. We hang a turkey on every teacher's door and students can purchase a feather for 25 cents to write a thank you note to a teacher. Each feather funds a healthy meal for a starving child internationally. Our students then pack the meals at Feed My Starving Children on Thanksgiving eve, before we feast ourselves. We sold a record 1680 feathers and teachers were uplifted with beautiful and fun notes of appreciation. Then last night 40 TPA NHS volunteers packed the 1680 healthy meals we funded to take to severely malnourished children in Mexico. We also packed an additional 9,336 meals, feeding 31 children for an entire year. We all appreciate our families and feasts today just a bit more. Go Knights making the world a better place!

Congratulations to Tempe Prep Seniors and National Honor Society members who have received prestigious National Merit recognition. Over 20% of Tempe Prep's senior class has been recognized as Semifinalists and Commended Scholars by the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program that honors the top students nationally. Work works! Go Knights!
