Hello Imani Family!
We wanted to provide you all with an update on some of the things going on here at Imani Christian School. Last Friday, our first ever graduating high school class met to discuss their upcoming graduation in November! Our students are extremely excited to be Imani’s first graduating class, and we are very proud of all of our students. The students agreed to meet again during the August holidays ahead of their exams to further prepare for this landmark occasion. We are also excited to have the rest of the students back at school after their Easter holidays.

Imani,

This morning we experienced a payment processing error affecting some of your donors who had already made their contributions this month. This was a logical error in the new version of the code which has now has been rectified.

All necessary refunds have been processed and a notification sent out to those impacted.

We sincerely apologize for the impact and inconvenience caused by this error. We place immense importance on reliability but today, we fell short of our commitment to you all.

In learning from this incident, we will improve our operations and tooling to avoid errors like this in the future, whatever the cause.

Your understanding and patience are appreciated as we work to resolve this quickly.

Sincerely,

HelpYouSponsor

Hi Imani Family!

It’s been a while. The last couple of years have been a whirlwind. Through the pandemic, our school has remained open, our children have been safe and healthy, and we have continued to grow. This would not be possible without you. Thank you for the role you play in helping the lives of our students.

We have some fun updates for you, I hope you enjoy!

~ Our students planted kale, maize, pigweed, watermelon, green grams and spinach! The produce grown is both consumed by the kiddos, and the surplus is sold in the community to help fund future farm and garden needs.
~ We now have a freshwater dam, and our staff and students look forward to the future possibilities of produce that can be grown with the water!
~ This last year the students had a variety of academic standardized testing introduced, and our students were ranked #1 out of all the schools in the region - we are so proud of our students and grateful for our staff and faculty.

As international travel becomes possible again, we will be excited to share more frequent updates with you! A major shout out to the Kenya Imani team who have been taking care of and supporting our students for the last couple of years.
