Congratulations to our karate competitors! They took to the floor at the annual Nikkei Games Karate Tournament in Long Beach.
Sensei Neil and students Eric, Regina, and Brie brought their A game and it showed. It’s never easy going out there but our passion for karate is what drives us. Keep showing up, giving your best, supporting your teammates, and walking away a stronger martial artist than you were before. 🏅
Sensei Neil placed 1st in kata and 3rd in weapons. Congrats to Brie on 2nd in kata. Eric received 3rd in kata and 2nd in kumite and Regina walked away with 2nd and 1st place medals in kata and kumite 🤜

Sensei Kelly won gold in all 3 of her divisions and Sensei Neil made it to the top 6 in both short and long weapon divisions.
