Grateful for all of the volunteers that showed up today for Saturday Farm Enrichment! 🌿🫶🌻

We planted around the ROTC pad, cleared the compost area for a fresh start, washed all of our start trays, and planted some seeds inside, too! Thank you Ms. Lady for joining us today! We accomplished a lot!

Thank you, David, Limelight Groves for bringing our crew fresh, organic oranges, grapefruit, pomelos and passionfruit! David also walked the farm to check out some of our irrigation issues and pests on the fruit trees. David will be joining our Regen Ag classes this coming Friday. Excited for this new industry partnership. It's quite delicious! 🍊🍋🍋‍🟩

Brix Lab with CTE Viticulture students! 🍇
1st period measured the Brix of red table grapes from Organic Roots and Merlot and Mourvèdre w**e grapes from Wilson Creek Winery !

Students learned how to calibrate and use the refractometers to measure Brix from juice samples. They also measured the pH of the samples. They will continue to measure Brix during w**e grape harvest season and make predictions based on weather and data. 🍇✨

Congratulations to the 2026 CTE Regenerative Agriculture and Viticulture Plant and Soil Science Pathway Completers!! 🌱🍇🫒

Over the last 2 years, these students have created a 5 acre regenerative farm and vineyard! They have planted 329 grapevines, over 200 olive trees, installed irrigation, built fences, planted seeds and starts for our culinary garden, harvested crops for culinary, built multiple composting systems, made compost tea, planted several fruit trees, worked alongside industry partners, hosted elementary field trips, moved a lot of soil, mulch and sandbags, earned their Farm Safety OSHA certifications, regenerated the land and created memories that will last a lifetime!
