TEMEKU HILLS POOL RE-OPENING GUIDELINES
The following pool guidelines, were created by the County’s Department of Environmental Health and Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser and are hereby implemented for use of the Association’s pool areas:
· During the current pandemic, the pool areas are available for resident use only. Guests are not permitted.
· With the exception of individuals in the same household, six (6) feet of separation between swimmers is required, with swimmers staying in their respective lanes.
· No large groups or parties, but residents who live in the same household can swim together.
· Pool furniture must remain properly distanced and cannot be moved.
· Cloth face coverings shall be worn when traveling in common areas where social distancing cannot be avoided, such as traveling to and from the pool.
· Residents should bring and use hand sanitizer.
· Lap swimmer pool time slots must be observed. There will be 2 slots per hour available for lap swimming and swimmers must maintain the mandated social distancing. Lap swimmers must make an appointment with the clubhouse for a 45-minute time slot.
· Free play swimming will be available every hour on the half hour for a 45-minute time slot. Residents who live in the same household can swim together. Free play swimmers must avoid the lap swimmers. Free play swimmers must make an appointment with the clubhouse for a 45-minute time slot. You must provide the names of all residents that will be using the pool during the approved time slot.
· No drinking fountains, showers or restrooms will be available.
· The spa will be closed due to repairs at this time.
· Waivers of liability must be signed for use of the pool, pickleball or tennis courts. Entry will be denied if there is not a signed waiver.
· Though the association will do its part to routinely wipe down areas, the use of the pool facility is at the residents own risk.
These guidelines are subject to change without notice, based on Riverside County mandates. Please know that failure to comply with the foregoing guidelines may result in the suspension of access to the pool and/or other disciplinary action as authorized by the Association’s governing documents.

TEMEKU HILLS MASTER ASSOCIATION
Common Area Facilities Release Form
Resident understands that, pursuant to the CDC and local health agencies’ guidelines, it is prudent that he/she takes precautionary & preventative steps while using the Temeku Hills Master Association’s (“Association”) common area facilities, to protect himself/herself, other residents and staff, and otherwise mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Accordingly, resident, for himself/herself, and his/her estate, heirs and next of kin, hereby certifies that he/she has reviewed the following Release, and signs/agrees with it voluntarily and on his/her own free will:
· Resident understands that there may be known and unanticipated risks and dangers associated with using the common area facilities (i.e., park, tennis courts, pickleball courts, swimming pool/spa areas, etc.), including, but not limited to, the transmission or infection of communicable viruses and diseases, such as the novel coronavirus. Accordingly, resident will not hold the Association or its officers, directors, agents, employees, insurers and attorneys responsible for damage to or loss of property, illness or disease, physical or mental injury, or death to himself/herself or other persons, in connection with such known and unanticipated risks and dangers.
· Resident should be free from any known physical health symptoms which may involve a communicable disease when using the common area facilities.
· Resident understands and agrees that if he/she has received a lab-confirmed diagnosis or is experiencing symptoms of a communicable disease, including, but not limited to, COVID-19, or if he/she has come into contact with a person known to have contracted a communicable disease, for the sake of the common good and health of their neighbors, he/she will refrain from using the common area facilities for at least fourteen (14) days since such diagnosis or contact, or as otherwise recommended by a health professional.
· Resident understands and agrees that, at all times while using the common area facilities, he/she will adhere to the social distancing and other coronavirus guidelines set forth by state and local health officials, which include, but may not be limited to:
a) maintaining six (6) feet of separation from other residents at all times;
b) refraining from large group gatherings, parties, etc.;
c) wearing a cloth face covering when traveling through the common area facilities; and
d) bringing hand sanitizer and using same as necessary.
The undersigned has read the foregoing procedures and guidelines and hereby agrees that he/she will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of the Association, or its directors, officers, agents, or property managers for any claim that resident may have, arising from or related to the use of the Association’s common area facilities. Resident knowingly and unequivocally waives, releases and discharges any and all rights that he/she, may have or which hereafter may accrue, to file any claim or lawsuit or assert any other cause, arising out of, in connection with, as a result of, or arising from the use of the common area facilities, from whatever cause, including the active or passive negligence of the Association. Resident acknowledges and represents that in executing this Release, he/she has read the terms of this Release and that resident fully understands the terms of this Release. Resident further acknowledges and represents that he/she, in executing this Release, has not relied on any inducements, promises, or representations made by Association or any party representing or serving the Association.
