The countdown is on! 🎉 We are getting so excited for this new semester to begin!

This year is bringing new opportunities, new classes, and more room for families to learn, explore, and grow together. None of it would be possible without the incredible families who have believed in this vision from the very beginning.

What makes Nature Explorers special isn’t our curriculum or our projects—it’s our people.

Our community has become more like family, and we truly believe we have some of the most supportive, encouraging, and genuine families around.

If you’ve been looking for a place where your family can belong, we’d love to meet you.

💚 Comment below for the location and we’d love to invite you to come say hi!

We have two different locations for families to join. Monroe County and Loudon County.

We know we’re starting small, but our vision is big. Our goal is to make a real and lasting impact on homeschool students and families throughout our community.

Many of you may have seen us at the local parks through our Nature Explorers enrichment program, and we’re so excited to continue growing those opportunities. Now, we’re taking that same hands-on, relationship-centered approach to the next level with our Nature Explorers Hybrid Learning Community.

If your child is ready for a challenge, thrives with hands-on learning, or you’re looking for a place where meaningful learning can happen without you needing to teach full-time, we’d love for you to come see what we’re building.

Our mission is to create a safe, engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to be curious, think critically, and build genuine friendships while discovering how they learn best. Through multi-age classrooms, students have opportunities to mentor one another, collaborate across grade levels, and work together on meaningful projects that build both academic knowledge and real-world confidence.

We believe every child has unique strengths and learning goals. Rather than simply completing assignments, our students work toward shared objectives, develop practical skills, solve real problems, and grow into confident, capable learners who are prepared both inside and outside the classroom.

As our community grows, we’ll also be offering parent drop-off opportunities, pop-up play days, and seasonal fall, winter, and summer camps to continue supporting homeschool families throughout the year.

If this sounds like a community your family would love to be part of, we’d love to connect with you. Send us a message, and we’ll be happy to send you our information packet and registration details.

Last year, we were incredibly blessed to receive a VELA Foundation microgrant, and we’re still seeing the impact of that investment today.

That one-time opportunity gave us the ability to dream a little bigger and take a meaningful step forward. Because of those funds, we were able to expand beyond our homeschool co-op and launch our new Nature Explorers Hybrid Learning Community—creating even more opportunities for students to learn, grow, and discover their God-given potential.

While we certainly wish funding like this could continue, we’re so thankful for the opportunity we were given. Sometimes a single investment is all it takes to help something take root and begin to flourish.

Today, our community is able to offer more hands-on learning experiences, more project-based opportunities, stronger character development, and more ways for families to connect and belong. We’re excited to continue building a place where children can explore, create, lead, and grow together.

To the VELA Foundation —thank you for believing in innovative education and in communities like ours. Your support continues to make a difference long after the grant has been spent.

Here’s to continuing to grow, serve, and invest in the next generation. 🌿❤️

📣Enrollment is Open!📣

As we prepare for our very first semester, we’re intentionally keeping our classes small so we can build the kind of learning community we envision—one where every student is known, encouraged, challenged, and has the opportunity to thrive.

If your family already knows this is something you’d like to be part of, we invite you to complete our Pre-Registration Form.

Pre-registration is for families who are ready to commit to joining our Learning Community.

Families who pre-register will:
✅ Have their student’s spot reserved.
âś… Receive the official registration packet first.
âś… Be given priority enrollment before any remaining spaces are opened to the public.

Because we are limiting enrollment in each class, once those spots are filled, registration will close.

Our goal isn’t to build the biggest program—we’re building the right community. We want families who value faith, character, meaningful learning, and a willingness to partner together in creating an incredible experience for every student.

If that’s you, we’d love to welcome your family.

đź“© Message us for the Pre-Registration Form or stop by our Meet & Greet Aug 11th at 12:30pm to learn more.

“Come grow with us as we build something truly special.” 🌿

📣📣Can we be honest?

We’re not the “perfect” homeschool community.

We’re imperfect people serving imperfect families.

Our classes aren’t about pretending we’ve got life figured out.

They’re about showing up anyway.

Showing up to encourage.
Showing up to teach.
Showing up to laugh.
Showing up to explore.
Showing up because every child deserves adults who believe in them.

We don’t expect perfection from our students because we don’t expect perfection from ourselves.

We simply ask that everyone comes willing to learn, grow, serve, and care for one another.

If your family joins us, our prayer is simple:

That when it’s time for your next adventure, you’ll leave with wonderful memories, meaningful friendships, greater confidence, and a deeper love of learning than when you first walked through the door.

Because you’re never just another student here.

You’re family.

And once you’re part of our family…

Once a Nature Explorer, always a Nature Explorer. 🙌

We know we won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

But if you’ve been looking for a place where your child can belong, where relationships matter, and where learning is an adventure…

We’d love for you to come experience it for yourself.

If you are looking to create this type of community in your own town, send up a message! We are looking for families to help us make more impact!

📣 We’re Growing! 📣

When we started Nature Explorers Homeschool Collective, our heart was simple—to create a place where families could connect, explore God’s creation, and cultivate a love for learning together.

That mission hasn’t changed.

What has changed is our vision.

We’re excited to announce that Nature Explorers is expanding to better serve homeschool families with two unique learning opportunities:

🌱 Nature Explorers Co-op
Our enrichment program continues to provide hands-on, nature-inspired classes, community, and memorable learning experiences for homeschool families of all ages.

📚 Nature Explorers Hybrid Learning Community
Our new project-based academic program is designed for students who thrive through inquiry, collaboration, and real-world learning. Rooted in Christian values, students engage in meaningful projects that build critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and teamwork while strengthening core academic skills.

Whether your family is looking for enrichment, a more immersive academic experience, or both, our goal is the same:

To create a community where students discover who God created them to be and develop the confidence, character, and skills to flourish.

We’re currently enrolling Middle and High School students for our Hybrid Learning Community and are looking ahead as we expand into Pre-K–1st Grade and 2nd–4th Grade programs in the future.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We can’t wait to see how God continues to grow this community!

Imagine if your child…

Couldn’t wait for learning day.

Had friends who encouraged them.

Used their gifts with purpose.

Developed confidence rooted in Christ.

That’s what we’re building.

Why Parents Love It

The goal is for Students to become…

âś” More independent

âś” More engaged

âś” More confident

âś” Better at solving problems

âś” Excited to learn

So Parents spend less time fighting over schoolwork…

…and more time watching their children thrive.

No co-op is perfect, no community has all the answers but we aim to have these goals as top priorities to achieve wholistic learners who not only succeed in academics but also at life.

Join us tomorrow for our first Meet and Greet event!

Comment “INFO” for all the details!

Enrollment is open for 5-8th grade and High School students. If you have you get students, please reach out. We are looking to expand once we have additional teachers.
