It's beginning to look like a new school year around here!

The GCS teachers have been hard at work getting their classrooms and curriculum materials ready. They are also diligently praying over each and every incoming student.

We ask you to join us in prayer over our teachers, staff, and students as we approach the first day of school. Every year is an exciting opportunity to grow in our relationships with the Lord and one another.

We're just under 2 weeks away from the first day of school!

As summer vacation begins to wind down, it's time to start thinking about launching a successful school year.

✏️ Check your email for important messages from the administration and teachers.
✏️ Catch up on suggested reading and math materials in your student's summer packet.
✏️ Visit your child's grade page through the Parent Login page of the website to download the supplies list. Contact the school office for the updated password if needed.
✏️ Watch your mail and email for your child's bus assignment and schedule.
✏️ Read the Parent/Student Handbook with your child.
✏️ Mark your calendar for our September 1st Back to School Night for all grades.

We look forward to seeing all students for the first day of school on August 31st!

Grace Christian School has been a ministry of Penn Valley Church since 1982. Penn Valley's mission for GCS is to guide students toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip them with the academic and spiritual tools needed to serve Him faithfully.

The board and staff of GCS are thankful for the faithful support of the pastors, leaders, and members of Penn Valley Church. Our ministry is a testimony to their constant prayers and abundant generosity.

Many of our students and their families are also regular attenders at Penn Valley. Weekly services are at 10:15am on Sundays. We would love to have you join us!

It's Sports Camp week, and we see lots of familiar faces. 🤩

Penn Valley Church hosts an exciting week of sports camp in partnership with FCA. GCS students, alumni, and staff have been a huge part of camp throughout its history. Over 200 campers are here, learning their sports, seeing old friends, making new friends, and growing closer to Jesus.

This year's theme is Proven, from John 15:8, "This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." Campers are being challenged to find their worth in Him.

Our GCS families are the best referral source we have! If you have friends, family members, colleagues, or acquaintances who are looking for a Christ-centered school for their children entering Pre-K through 8th Grade, please send them our way.

We are scheduling tours throughout the summer and will continue enrollment to each grade's capacity. Financial aid is also still available.
