You're a jet engine
The acoustic energy created by a singing voice is on the order of 130dB. So, if you were to put your ear inside a singers throat, it would be on the order of volume of a jet engine... and you'd probably have no ear left.

Of that insane amount of energy, just roughly 5% of it makes it out of the mouth and into the room.

Just to put it another way, 95% REMAINS INSIDE!!

Think of it like this :There are people out there (hello vocal coach Jaime Vendera) who can vibrate, and then shatter, a w**e glass with that 5%.

If that's possible with 5, imagine what that 95% could do.

Singing has brought relief more times than I can count. 🎶💙

When the grief of child loss feels too heavy, I try to remember to sing. Not because I always feel like it, but because I know it helps. Singing slows my breathing, lifts the weight off my chest, and reminds me I’m not alone. It clears my mind, connects me with God and my daughter Wynter, and somehow turns pain into something beautiful.
