Keeping Kids in School PAC Candidates WIN 98% of School Board Races in PA
They say all politics is local...
And Keeping Kids in School PAC is proud to share election results showing that:
98% of our 93 School Board Candidates in
9 counties and
34 school districts throughout Pennsylvania
won their primary elections and are advancing to the General Election in November 2021!!
On May 18th, primary election day, voters showed up in numbers not seen in years - or even ever before - to vote on future leaders as well as critical issues such as school board elections and key primary ballot questions.
From the results we are seeing, it is clear that parents, students, caregivers, and community members have been listening, more than ever, to our candidates’ messages around getting our kids back in school, keeping them there, and the quality education they should be receiving as they came out in droves to show with their vote that paying attention to who sits on school boards matters.
As our candidates knocked on tens of thousands of doors over the past few months, called friends and neighbors, and managed social media pages and websites, they based their platforms on what they were hearing locally: that the majority of voters want to provide students with full time, in person learning, they want school board and administration transparency, fair curriculum choices, mask choice in schools, and they want to keep politics out of school board decisions.
And despite a shoestring budget, false allegations, shadow email addresses and FB pages, and the attempt to hack into and take down keepingkidsinschool.com, our candidates’ character, voting record, and stance on key issues prevailed in the end.
Never underestimate the power of a determined group of moms.
