𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗!

Based on the community priorities identified through the Facilities Master Plan, we are excited to share the proposed updates specifically for Jacobsen Middle School. This proposal is backed by strict accountability measures including a local Citizens’ Oversight Committee and annual independent audits ensuring funds are spent on voter-approved projects and not on salaries or operating expenses. Every dollar is protected and dedicated solely to voter-approved projects like these:

𝗝𝗠𝗦 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
• Complete modernization of the JMS gymnasium including added HVAC (heating and cooling), new ADA-compliant bleachers, and a complete refinishing of the original hardwood court floor.
• Full remodel of the boys' and girls' restrooms and locker rooms.
• Fresh school colors, graphics, and identity updates, alongside gym roofing improvements.

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
• Comprehensive modernization of the aging 100, 200, and 300 classroom wings, including updated lighting, flooring, ceilings, and windows.
• Remodeling and upgrading dedicated learning spaces, labs, and band room.
• Relocating and modernizing Special Education classrooms into permanent environments with integrated restrooms and improved accessibility.

• Campus-wide safety and infrastructure upgrades including new fire alarm systems, roof replacements, and remodeled student and staff restrooms.

Our ADVENTURE ZONE fundraiser is almost over –

Dear Families,

A big thank you for your support that brings much needed funding to our school! EVERY DOLLAR we earn goes to students and staff. Last year we gave over $7,000 in transportation fees for field trips (otherwise we don’t have those fun trips!), over $5,000 for classroom and staff support items, over $1,000 for athletic related items, and over $2,500 for prizes raffled off at the 8th grade dance. NONE of this happens without your help in raising money for JMS!

The first prize level is at $50 and each student who raises $50 earns TWO TICKETS to Great Wolf Lodge! Amazing!

💰 FYI: CASH OR CHECK DONATIONS WILL STILL COUNT TOWARD PRIZES YOUR STUDENT EARNS AS LONG AS THEY ARE TURNED INTO THE OFFICE BY 9/22! Checks can be made out to "JMS PTO".

🎁 Prize Distribution - on MONDAY 9/21 all students who earned their epic pass will receive their last prize, a stress relief squishy gummy bear AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP AT LUNCH TIME. All prizes earned from how much money they raised individually will be handed out approximately 3- 4 weeks after the fundraiser ends - stay tuned for details!

ALL STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE EPIC FUNDRAISER WILL BE PUT IN FOR A $500 AMAZON GIFT CARD RAFFLE!!!!!
Also! The 3 homerooms who raise the MOST earn a pizza and soda party for their homeroom! Right now the top 3 homerooms are:
